“No, no — d-don’t stop, you fucking bastard,” Chuuya growled, more pathetic than threatening, and oh, if it didn’t make Dazai swoon. He buried his face in his partner’s neck, smothering himself in the secretions of his scent glands. It was sweet, like honey, but strong and overpowering, too. Somehow tempting yet threatening all the same. But most of all, it was addicting. It kept Dazai coming back for more every time.

Summary
Two boys are raised in a laboratory, subjected to experiments and isolated from the outside world. Though they grow close during their time there, one of them carries a secret: they’ve actually met before, long ago before the lab, before the experiments. Only Atsushi remembers half of that brief but meaningful encounter from their childhood. Desperate to reconnect with that lost bond, he gently tries to help the other remember on his own, hoping the memory will return naturally.
But things aren’t so simple. Their memories are fractured by trauma, manipulation, and the lab’s interference. Chuuya looked…peaceful. He didn’t appear disturbed by a nightmare. That pillow in his arms was barely being held with any real force, and Dazai could probably take it from him without resistance.
This was different than all the times Chuuya fell unconscious after using Corruption. All those times he grimaced in his sleep and looked tormented. Even asleep he continued to fight. The fighting seemed to never end for Chuuya. But those times weren’t the same kind of vulnerability he showed now. That was helplessness. This was trust.
Above all, it felt…strangely intimate. Something they were not known for either as partners or as a pair in bed. They were desperate, hungry, with hands roaming everywhere, and all teeth in their kisses. They burned for one another and consumed each other the same dangerous way they destroyed everything around them. But there was nothing to destroy here.
