Summary
Historia has spent years doing her best to fly under the radar as Krista. However, there is one person in the Survey Corps who doesn't let much slip past him, and he certainly notices her. Levi can't put his finger on why his attention keeps being drawn to Krista, and she is definitely confused by her own thoughts about him. He has lost too many people that he cares about and is hesitant to let anyone in, but Krista has a way of disarming even "humanity's strongest," unleashing parts of himself that he had forced to lie dormant for years. After they are finally able to come to terms with their own feelings, it is discovered that Historia has royal blood, and when word of this gets back to Marley, Reiner and Bertholt are sent to kidnap her and take her back to Marley, having no idea what the Marleyan government has planned for her. Levi will never rest until he frees her.
