Summary
Ben Solo is alive, but the price for Rey being able to save him was a hefty one. Having gotten an unconscious Ben off Exegol to safety, they are together. Both are without powers and in hiding. Despite being together, they are still apart.
Rey grapples with truths she isn't ready to acknowledge, let alone accept.
Turning to the light and surviving death did not erase the darkness of Kylo Ren that remains in Ben. When he wakes, he finds himself struggling against his own demons. He is not ready to face the galaxy he had once sought to destroy.
Ben Solo must battle his greatest enemy, and Rey must decide if she can truly let the past die before it destroys their future. Can they rise above their fears and embrace the bond--and ultimately the dyad--that they share? Can they let each other in? Or will they allow what they have to slip through their fingers and lose it all?

She could have pushed, but he was already edging toward frustration.

Ben raised a brow, just slightly. “Is there another dating app we’ve both been paired on that I should be worried about?”~~

Бену семнадцать и она не может оставить его одного, нет, не тогда когда она является взрослой. Она не оставит этого подростка как когда-то оставляли её. Бен тоже не собирается расставаться с Рей. Но у них разные взгляды на нынешнюю ситуацию и понятие расставания.
Иногда Бен ведет себя странно и постоянно касается её, но в этом нет ничего ненормального, да? Он подросток оказавшийся посреди океана в ожидании спасательной группы и вынужденный выживать в диких условиях. К кому как не к ней ему проявлять свои дружеские чувства? Рей убеждает себя в безвредности Бена, но иногда в нем проскальзывает что-то, от чего у нее неприятно сводит живот и к горлу подступает тошнота.
Бен не тот, за кого себя выдает. И все же он немного романтик? Ведь так?
