Summary
This is an alternate version of notastumph's Kick Drum Beating in My Chest Again. It is a different take on Prison Break but with Vampires. Patrick is a doctor in a prison and is happily married. One day, a new prisoner comes in named Pete Wentz, who is there to break William Beckett out of prison. Pete arranges for a riot of the prisoners to act as a distraction for his and William's escape plan, but it fails. Afterwards, Patrick feels himself being drawn to Pete and he doesn't know why. When Patrick has to transfer a stabbing patient to the hospital, things go very, very wrong. Patrick is framed for a crime he didn't commit. How will he adjust to life in prison? How will he get out? Will he ever see Pete again?

Summary
Beside you, Pete stirred, rolling over slowly. “So…” he began, his tone suspiciously light, playful.
You cracked one eye open and fixed a tired glare on him. “Don’t say it.”
He smiled, his breath brushing your shoulder as he rested his chin there, smug but soft. “We haven’t tried all the methods yet.” He pressed a kiss to your bare shoulder, lips curling into a smirk. “Studies show semen has prostaglandins, which can help soften the cervix…”
You groaned into the pillow. “Oh my God. You looked it up.”
“I researched,” he said proudly, hand stroking your side. “And also, I miss being inside you.”
You tried to fight the smile tugging at your lips, but failed. “You’re disgusting.”
“I’m devoted,” he corrected, grinning as he kissed your cheek. “You’re beautiful. Radiant. Ready to birth our child. And I’m ready to offer you my medically-approved dick.”
You let out a snort. “Wow. Poetry.”
OR
You’re overdue and trying every method possible to induce labor. Pete is more than happy to help in any way he can. -

Summary
The band is back together for Save Rock and Roll, and Pete is worried about Patrick. The new version of his best friend is unrecognizable: rail thin, sardonic, not eating, and did Pete just see him do a line in the bathroom? There's only one way Pete can think of in the fragile state of their relationship to get Patrick taking care of his body: to get him pregnant. Patrick loves kids; he’s always wanted them, so once he knows he’s growing a sweet little baby that’s half him and half his best friend in the world, Patrick will get his act together. And even if Patrick gets mad, Pete's sure he’ll come around eventually. He'll be grateful someday that Pete is willing to go to any length to take care of him. Right?

Summary
2013 was the best year of his life.
He’s sad to be leaving it behind, but if he has to leave it behind, he’s leaving it behind in flames on some “Burn everything you love, then burn the ashes” type shit. What’s a honeymoon phase compared to the rest of his life? What’s reunion sex compared to I love you and we know we’re in this together forever sex?
…right?
(OR: fall out boy is performing in times square on december 31, 2013. pete and patrick fuck in their gorgeous hotel room when the ball drops. pete has emotions, patrick has a perfect cock, and they're gonna have a happy new year!!!!)

Summary
The PA says that they only have two dressing rooms. It’s a little surprising for an arena of this size to have only two available to them, but it just has to be what it is. They’ve only been back for just under a year - it’s not unexpected that they are treated like a new band. Even if they’re not.
What is unexpected is Pete saying out loud, before anyone else can give an opinion, “I’ll share with Patrick.”

Summary
Gabe stares at him in complete silence for what feels like an eternity, expression now morphing from calm concern to ominous alarm. “Pete,” he starts, and it sounds like he’s talking to a small child who’s just painted all over the walls. “Did you piss off a witch?”
"Did I what?”
Pete finds himself in a bit of a predicament, and in the ensuing chaos of hexes, warlocks and talking cobras, Patrick is the anchor that keeps him sane. - Set in late 2012.

Summary
There was a part of Patrick that wanted to scream no; that wanted to kick and cry and throw a tantrum like the overgrown toddler his food choices suggested he was because, fuck, no, I’m not. There was a bigger portion though -- the logical adult that, thankfully, lived somewhere inside even the most med-less version of his body now -- that knew getting angry wouldn’t solve anything.

Summary
When the band gets back together, Patrick has a lot of conflicting feelings. He isn’t sure if trying this again will work. What if everything is exactly the same? What if it’s different? Both scenarios fill Patrick with an impending sense of doom.
He doesn’t like the uncertainty of it. Patrick has talked to the other guys during the hiatus, a sporadic phone call, text, or email here and there. He even went to Joe’s wedding.
Shortly after he submitted that blog post, Pete called him to check on him. A weird, ironic twist of fate. It felt wrong to Patrick, like a complete role reversal in their dynamic.
Or the one where the band gets back together, and Pete and Patrick are sappy and in love. Inspired by Bob Dylan and Deep Blue Love.

Summary
The spoken word has always eluded him. Words are so much easier when constricted to twenty-six letters that he can manipulate and twist into saying exactly what he needs them to. Speaking is too vague, with too many variables and often relies on Pete understanding exactly what he needs to say. Hence why the spoken word (or in this case, sung) word became Patrick’s domain in the band. He’s the Pete-translator.
(Or: Pete finds a new hobby and overthinks a relationship or two.)
