Summary
Harry decides to be a decent date to Parvati at the Yule Ball during fourth year and the whole Tri-wizard Tournament debacle. She is pleasantly surprised and decides to give him a chance at more, kissing him at the end of their date and starting him on a different path than canon. This leads to some serious changes in his and everyone he cares about lives', setting them on journey of unexpected relationships, new experiences, lots of teenage hormones and embarrassment, and changed destinies.
The first book of the story is completely written and will end up being around 40 chapters, depending on editing and if I get any wild new ideas while I'm revising. I'm planning on posting around a chapter a week until complete.

Working in a bookshop to pay the bills and keeping minimal contact with the wizarding world through the handful of friends from her pervious life she got by, that was until a few unfortunate interactions stirred her from her monotony. A rescuer who always seemed to be around at exactly the right time, letter correspondence with her favourite author and sightings of Bellatrix Lestrange made her confront some of the many things she had been blocking. With the encouragement of the few people who stood by her, her friendship group grew and with it the support she needed to confront these things.
Now reunited with her parents and with the encouragement of her friends she finds herself embarking on her final year at Hogwarts with the aim to finish her schooling, her girlfriend a secret and also the new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, Bellatrix Black. Hidden from wizarding society, a species of Fae known as the Woodland Elves live in their heavily guarded forest Realm. Brought to near extinction hundreds of years ago by the destruction of their forest, they are fighting against further population decline from generations of inbreeding.
In an attempt to cope with the isolation of being unbreedable, a Woodland Elf with a genetic disease crossed from the Realm into the wizarding world, and had a child with a witch, then died. The child was then forced to exist in a life of secrecy, between her two worlds. This is her story.
She was born in November of 1975, and is in the same school year as Percy Weasley. After the prologue, the story will follow her from her first year of Hogwarts, and will focus on her relationship with our favorite Potions Professor over the years. There is no underage romance. The story follows them for many years, and explore the fallout of the war, and a reckoning of Snape's past deeds, both good and bad. I have not yet rated this story, I am still working with how explicit it needs to be. I will update tags as I go along.
