Set just after Hunting Palismen!
Belos was hunched over his throne, facing away from Hunter.
The room was silent, apart from Belos’ laboured breathing, barely audible over the slow beating of the Titan’s Heart. The Emperor’s shoulders heaved with each arduous intake of breath.
Hunter took a tentative step forward but stopped when his Uncle lurched forward with a loud, strained groan.
“U-Uncle? Are you- are you OK?”~
After his failure in retrieving the Palismen for his Uncle, Hunter had expected retribution.
He hadn't expected to be blinded.
After Darius convinces him to escape the Emperor's Coven, Hunter winds up living at the Owl House, and has to learn to live his life without his sight.
ORBelos lashes out, blinding Hunter 'by accident'. He goes to Darius who helps him run away. Dadrius and Angsty shenanigans ensue.

The voice inside Hunter's head that calls itself Caleb—and is, conveniently, "probably cursed"—hasn't bothered him in a while, at least until the human and that cardinal palisman decide to run his perfectly planned life off course. Now Hunter's back to arguing with a pissed off, blaspheming, disembodied voice, while also trying to keep his uncle happy—and, of course, trying to keep the stupid bird out of harm's reach. But he's handling everything perfectly fine.
Never mind that Caleb seems to think that he is not, in fact, handling everything perfectly fine.Or, Caleb ends up sharing Hunter's head and both are understandably pissed about it. Updates every other Monday.

"“‘It’ll be a great gift,’ Eda said,” Luz grumbled, stomping down another thorny, dead bush in the middle of what, two hours ago, she had assumed was a path. “‘Stampeding Bluebells represent loyalty and endurance. Amity will love it!’ Eda said.” She tried to take another step forward but was jerked back by her cloak, which had unsurprisingly gotten caught on a thorny tree. “Ugh. ‘Also, King has a healer’s appointment so good luck on your own!’” Luz grabbed her cloak with both hands and tugged. The branch snapped, sending her crashing into the- you guessed it- thorny underbrush without even a second to catch herself."
