There wasn’t a lot of research done on shifter forms, or why some families all shared a form and why others were completely random. Some families would tend toward the same general animal and others like the Waynes were always exactly the same. Not every blood Wayne had a shift but if they did it was always a Desmodus draculae or more commonly known as giant vampire bats.

Summary
Stephanie is the third Robin, and the pains she went through to get the title were worth it, she loves to help the city she grew up in, and the ability to fly that her normal shift denies her.
She also loves her boyfriend despite neither of them even knowing each other's names and mostly squeezing time in together at the end of a quiet patrol. Really, who needs easy if you can make it complicated?
She should have known though, that this night had felt too quiet.

He tried not to think about the last time he was grounded that way. Because if he did, the file cabinets in the FBI office took on the appearance of crates in a warehouse, the coffee machine turned into a ticking bomb, and Jason's handler turned into a menacing clown swinging around a crowbar.
