The Gala was to raise money for troubled youths, but both he and Guardian knew it was just a front. Tim had asked, and Aspen confirmed that she was the representative for the charity Bruce Wayne was funding.
His hands twitched as he heard a car pulling into the manor's long-ass driveway. Tim wedged a strand of yarn into his book before shutting it and venturing downstairs. He opened the door and waited diligently as his parents meandered in.
