Summary
Merlin and Hogan are called upon by an old ally to investigate rumors of an uprising brewing in Brimstone Village, the largest supplier of ore in the Ironheart Dominion. There, they have to unravel the lies of corrupt leaders, deal with the consequences of a fallen god's past treachery, prevent human sacrifice rituals, and take a side as rebellion brews. Luckily, Merlin and Hogan have plenty of experience working as partners.

Merlin promptly gets lost at sea and ends up trapped in Stormy Strait, a place plagued by gang wars, graveborn pirates, and a kraken. Unable to call for reinforcements, Merlin has to deal with this alone. Oh, also with this new guy.
