    Summary

At the dawn of the Android Spring in the late 21st century, 56-year-old robot technician Kathy Ellis and her daughter Stef Ellis find themselves under Dormitory H, a mysterious Grade II building at the edge of the Royal College of Saint Almsworth.

When the robots among them go on strike and hide under Dormitory H, the townsfolk of Almsworth find themselves grappling with a heavy past. Do they help the robots? Or do they just stand by and watch, as Dormitory H comes under attack, again?

And what will Stef and Kathy Ellis find, when they look into Dormitory H’s secrets?

This story is a direct continuation of First Day. It is written after Chapter 46 of The Sisters of Dorley, and may diverge from canon as a result or contain spoilers. It also borrows characters from Invisible String, a story in the Dorleypilled fanon.

    Summary

Change is coming to Dorley Hall. Slowly, and with a great deal of complaining, but it is coming nonetheless. While they are still a long way from being a 'charitable' organisation, the selection process is becoming more... particular about what kind of boy finds themself waking up in one of those small, concrete cells.
Seen primarily through the eyes of one of these boys, this is a look at a (slightly) less coercive Dorley, and an intake that is a little different from those previous. It diverges from the main canon works around chapter 44. This work is on the fluffier side, but given that it's Dorley it's inevitably going to get a little dark on occasion.

Main Content Warning: This story, like its parent novels, contains polyamorous relationships, graphic violence, bad language, sexually suggestive scenes, characters using slurs, transphobia, homophobia, misogyny, criminal activity, non-consensual medical intervention, religious trauma and various other traumatic scenes.
