Son of Stoick, Heir to Berk, talking fishbone, the first ever Viking who can't kill a dragon but never known as Hiccup Haddock.
Hiccup had enough of everyone and once he came across a particular dragon, he can't help but fill his mind with ideas. Ideas such as,
Running away.
He leaves and strives for a living outside in the Archipelago, but years after his success in befriending dragons, he's forced into a nostalgic predicament; forced to see familiar faces he wishes to erase from his mind. Especially the one and only girl he has yet to move on from.
What will Hiccup do? With his past catching up to him once more, with an upcoming danger from the dragon hunters?

Hiccup runs away before fighting Hookfang without anyone noticing and leaves for the outer archipelago. He rises to an anonymous saviour of dragons and is soon forced to see the people of Berk that he left behind. He was laying on his side as he felt the pressure on his right arm, which curiously didn’t hurt anymore. In an effort to control his limbs, he tried to move his legs which ended up to be successful, yet they felt…off. A little heavier. He thought none of it, he was probably tired after that whole fiasco. Whatever venom that dragon had injected in him, must not have been the killing type. He shook his head and reached his hand up to fix his hair.

This is my first fanfic on A03, it's about the Netflix series RTTE (Race to the Edge), in the Universe of HTTYD (How to Train your Dragon). It is a Viggo Grimborn x Fem!Reader.
An old friend of the riders pays a visit to the Edge, reigniting an old passion of adventure that burns through the complacency that watered down her fire. She grasps her new life and doesn't let go, finally feeling the freedom of fight and flight. Her curiosity grows as she gets the chance to live life on the wild side, even more so when one late night she happens upon the chance of a lifetime. However, in heeding her friends encouragement to enjoy herself, she finds herself in an unexpected and unique situation. Finding herself in more adventure than she bargained for, she embraces it, dancing with the life-threatening dangers most find terrifying, toying with the balance of her life daring it to send her into the deep end.
