She knew it was just a pose, just him trying to be the type of guy that he thought he was supposed to be. But it still made her feel incredibly insecure about her body. She knew she didn't look like those other girls. She knew Alex knew that, too. But she wasn't sure if he'd actually be okay with the very real implications of that. The implications of what could happen if he'd actually start touching her in other places.
