Sam Winchester is finally a lawyer. After years of hard work in college and law school, he is assigned his first defendant: Craig Stiller. The man is being accused of murder, identity theft, impersonating a federal officer and grave robbery. Great, real easy to defend this one. Way to lose a case immediately. Committed to proving himself, Sam is ready to give this his all.
Dean Winchester has had enough. He is freshly out of hell, there’s a bossy angel constantly giving him orders and his father died anyway, even though he’d made the demon deal for him. Oh, and he’s chained up in a jail cell! Again! He can’t get himself out of this one, so the only guy he can rely on is his defense lawyer…
Or: Sam goes to law school after s1e1, Dean goes to search for their dad. Dean gets himself in trouble, gets Sam as his defense attorney and together they hatch a plan.
This takes place in my weird alternate version of season 4…enjoy?

The point was that Cas fell out of that barn and right into Dean’s life like he’d always belonged there. Like there was a Castiel-shaped spot missing somewhere and he’d slotted right into it. Over the past several months, the two of them haven’t been apart for more than a couple hours and Dean wonders how he ever went on without him. How it was even possible that Cas hadn’t been there the entire time.

However, if you left those out as well as his dreams, you would say he was a pretty average kid. Even though there was a lot of family drama behind closed doors. He lived with his Aunt Kate and Uncle Mike as well as his big brother after the accident involving his mother and father. Yet, when Sam turned thirteen years old, his older brother Dean had a big fight with their uncle and left. He hadn’t seen the other since.
Now, right when Sam was finishing up school, all of these weird dreams and unexplainable events started happening again. The worst time for his estranged and demented brother to show up just before his final interview for Law school. Unfortunately, Sam would never get to that last interview.
