i was playing soul calibur ii the other day where heihachi was actually a guest character there (of course...). I thought to myself of a what if idea where Jin mysteriously ends up being sent to the past (aka the world of Soul Calibur) by a portal. Jin ends up going on a quest with Mitsurugi to help him defeat Nightmare and Jin also wants to free Siegfried from the evil sword's control. During this journey, Jin would drink too much sake and ends up having a one night stand with someone in the past. After defeating Nightmare and saving Siegfried's soul, Jin tried to destroy Soul Edge so it's evil can't control or hurt anyone else...but Raphael already took it and ran off. Siegfried thanks Jin for saving him and sends him back to the present. However, little did Jin realize he had a big shock waiting for him when he got back to the present...

Summary
9/3/24 - I added a quick summary of the events leading up to Soul Calibur III if you are not familiar with the series. Meant to do this for a while, but there you go. This is Chapter 12.
"Burial of Nightmares" is a retelling of Soul Calibur 3, focusing primarily on Siegfried and a number of characters I consider the "main cast" involved with the series' major events. I'm taking from both the original series and a bit of Soul Calibur 6 to fill in the backstory up to the first scene (excluding the time travel and Aval Organization plot).
As a primer, the story starts just after Siegfried frees himself from Soul Edge (with the unintended help of Raphael). And I hope that the rest is explained through the plot. Feel free to comment, critique, but, most of all, enjoy!

I was inspired by some fanart of Jon Talbain from Darkstalkers eating Sabrewulf from Killer Instinct on Furaffinity, and I made this to celebrate Vore Day this year. Is Guts defeating Nightmare complete bullshit - honestly yes, but fuck it I like Guts we like Guts so Guts eats Nightmare.
