Mikey and Donnie both say their first words at different times. Mikey was seven, Donnie was five. Donnie’s first words came after a moment with Leo just made him feel right. Right enough, even, to say his favorite (and only) twin’s name to show his affection.
And Mikey’s was coaxed out of him by a bug book. He was nonverbal for seven years, not even saying sounds, just chirps and churrs to show his feelings. But one fateful day, while Donnie and Leo were playing Barbies, Raph listened to Mikey say “ladybug” for the first time.

After the Kraang invasion, the Hamato Family is desperately trying to heal. Both emotionally and physically. While Donnie watches and assists his injured brothers, his body starts to fight against him. Donnie doesn't want to take the care away from his brothers, so he keeps it to himself, ultimately making everything worse.
(This fic is basically me projecting my fibromyalgia onto Donnie and seeing where it takes me.)
This is my first time writing fan fiction! I've been a writer for years, but never shared my work, so honestly, I don't know if I'm all that great at it. Critiques are welcome, just be nice about it, please :)

Izuku is only five, and hoping that the doctor is wrong. Because if the doctor is wrong, then everything can go back to normal. But, then something awful happens, he's attacked and every mean word people say about him echoes, and the roof edge is right there. In his desperation, his quirk finally activates, bringing him the family he wanted and a quirk to boot. Splinter is just trying to get the turtles to bed after coming home injured from the battle nexus, when something catches his interest, a sort of 'call' and a portal slowly forming under his feet. He only just has enough time to grab his boys before they are dumped into a new world full of new problems.

In an alternate universe where Splinter lives, Karai takes charge of the Foot Clan, transforming it into an honorable organization dedicated to good. The Shredder is dead, and life has returned to normal—except for one family member.
Mikey has been feeling useless and lonely at home, as his brothers constantly ignore him or become angry with him for his antics. One day, he finds comfort in a strange woman named Misaki Towa, who offers him sanctuary and support to lift his spirits, becoming a motherly figure to the turtle.
Unbeknownst to Mikey and his family, Misaki is secretly the widow of the Shredder.
After learning of her husband's death, she plans to avenge the Shredder by killing the turtles and Hamato Yoshi, with the help of the remaining Foot still loyal to him.
As the story unfolds, Mikey begins to lose faith and love from his family due to Misaki's poisonous manipulation and lies disguised as harsh truths.
Can Mikey's family and friends help him through this ordeal, or will Misaki Towa succeed in her revenge by poisoning the one person who is the heart of the family?
