Summary
A high tension standoff occurs when Team Sonic gains possession of the No Place Prism shard and hides in the depths of the planet's vast oceans. While the Chaos Council searches overhead, the team tries to gain some footing.
The underwater base plan goes awry, of course it's Shadow and Sonic who are last to escape. It's their best luck that emergency protocols only make the situation worse, and as if it couldn't plummet further- it does exactly that. Now stuck thousands of meters underwater, separated from the others and running out of time, two rivals have to learn to get along and work together.
Although, that doesn't seem to be Sonic's problem... -

Oh right... it can... will sonic even want to fix things, or will he be helping his brother... the brother he gained from after shattering the prism... Miles "Nine" Prower. Shadow is concerned now. Sonic is different. He's smarter, more mature, less trusting... Nine has had an effect on our Blue hero that has turned him into a whole different blue blur... Nine is in trouble now and Sonic is very protective... what else is wrong in the Shatterverse. But wait, Shadow has managed to enter the grim and found a different prism. perhaps it can revive his friends in ghost hill? But without Sonic? Maybe Tails can help with Sonic... Hopefully...

At the word, the circle in the floor hissed and began to rise, revealing the terrarium of the last palm tree from the time before the Chaos Council. Knucks whirled around, pulling his hand from Rebel’s as Commander Red stepped into the light.
“Rebel, Renegade,” the purple cat greeted them as she entered.
“Commander,” Knucks returned, trying to keep the momentary worry out of his voice.
Rebel grabbed his hand again. “It’s okay, Knucks. She knows.”
