Yoshiki doesn’t say anything back, just continues cycling ahead. There are beads of sweat soaking the collar of Yoshikis t-shirt, and it feels like he’s chasing him for the rest of the ride. He could probably catch up, but he doesn’t try, just enjoys the feeling of the chase, giddy and breathless with it, barely able to contain the feeling to this small body.

When she starts working with Dr. Jack Abbot, she can't tune out the deep well of grief that surrounds him, the loneliness and desperation that seems to follow him everywhere. And she can't help but feel drawn to him, even when it puts her secret at risk.

This is a slow, quiet story about Mycroft Holmes and Gregory Lestrade's blooming romance. My goal was to publish one chapter per day starting from the 1st of october, but I was terrified of not being able to keep the rhythm : I took a bit of an head start and now I have 6 chapters ready in advance, yay me ! The point of this is for me to start liking writing again, and to prove myself that I'm able to write at the pace of 1 000 words per days : meaning that each chapter will exactly be 1 000 words. Not sure the fandom is still alive, but I fell back into it, so yeah, hope you'll enjoy this !
