Summary
To turn a Viking invasion into a lucrative trade agreement, the leaders of Gormenghast must come up with an Omega mate for Alpha Prince Ivar. Problem: the Groan family is fresh out of Omegas. They scheme to elevate some presentable Omegas from the servant class, properly educated and instructed, to entice Ivar as supposed nieces and nephews of the Earl. Kitchen boy Steerpike is a standout, but he has his own ambitions and plans when it comes to Gormenghast. Fortunately, he and Ivar seem to have plenty in common.
Or, Ivar and Steerpike become murder husbands.
