“You’re pathetic.” He spat, though the words rang in his ears far truer than when directed at that smiling mask before him.
Wu Ming said nothing, his hand twitched at his side, and it slowly came up to cover Xie Lian’s around his throat. Hesitant to touch his skin, but his cold fingers pressed, and pressed, and pressed, until he too was helping Xie Lian in his endeavor to strangle him.
“My life was yours,” He said, his voice strained and raspy, but it held no malice, just honesty that made Xie Lian sick. “My death is yours, as well.”
(Or, author wanted to do something for Hua Cheng's birthday so he wrote power bottom Xie Lian and one-sided hate sex for Wu Ming, all angst, minor comfort at the end, please mind the tags!)

There was silence for a moment, before he whispered, “What is he trying to prove now? Showing me a version of myself that looks happy… For what?!” Xie Lian asked to himself, his voice breaking.

Summary
"Not real... It's not real..." Xie Lian whispered to himself, gripping the edge of the furniture until his knuckles turned white.
Tears poured from his eyes, down his colorless cheeks, and burned his skin. To Xie Lian, his tears held the agony of his people dying because of his incompetence. It was a curse that he must suffer every time he felt clouded with dread. He thought he deserved it, even though deep inside he condemned the strange being that always stalked him in his downward spiral.
“This is not real. You’re not here…” But even as Xie Lian tried to convince himself, the cold, sinister voice of White No Face echoed in his mind, whispering horrors and dark promises of his demise or worse.
Xie Lian suffers a panic attack from White No-Face's visit, and Feng Xin does everything in his power to comfort His Highness.

Summary
He doesn't remember making any movement or sound but he must have because suddenly there's a warm hand against his cheek and an anxious voice beside his ear.
“Wu Ming? Are you awake again?”
“Your Highness?” Somehow he manages to force the words out this time, soft and hoarse and barely audible even to his own ears, but he manages it.
“Wu Ming! You're still with me!”
There's so much relief and pain in that voice that it steals the breath Wu Ming doesn't have and the ghost desperately wants to reply, to tell his god that, if it's up to him, he will never leave his side again, but to his dismay the ghost finds that not only can he not form the words, but that the two words he did get out seem to have drained him once again and now there's nothing for him except to fall back into the darkness.
As all sensation fades away again the last thing Wu Ming hears is his highness saying, “I'll save you. No matter what it takes I promise I'll find a way to save you!”
OR Wu Ming survives the evil spirits and Xie Lian finds a way to nurse him back to health

He Xuan visits Qingxuans grave a lot. Yin Yu gave him a collection of scrolls to write in, he thought it would help him go to Shi Qingxuans grave less.
