Summary
This begins at the end of Amara's Tower arc, where she made a new version of the Signal Tower to allow Magical Girls in France to become Doppels instead of Witches. The Tower had horrible effects on non-magical humans, and it took Amara's and Tart's foster daughter, Giselle, and turned her into a Witch. After she and Tart mercy-killed Giselle, Amara was imprisoned by her former Palace Guard comrades, for war crimes. This story begins when Amara, after languishing in prison for weeks, is finally led out to be executed.
