Usaki shuffled off his shoes and set the keys and takeout bag on the counter and shot him an unamused face, "Yeah, yeah. It's not my fault everyone in the world decided to be going at a snail's pace today, and besides it's not like i went missing or anything."
"Right because you going missing the first time wasn't worrying at all." Keiko retorted back, his voice cold.
If there was any way to piss off Usaki quickly, this was one of the options. Keiko wouldn't let it go after the tons of near arguments they've had from Usaki returning, but there was always something to defrost the conversation; Kasai or some mild emergency, or Keiko simply backing off and huffing a simple "never mind". But he couldn't keep his feelings about it bottle up forever, and today seemed to be the very day he lets loose all the pent up thoughts.
