Summary
"I—I don't understand the anger you harbour on my behalf, but—" His breath caught again. Truthless Recluse drew the fount in, up until their bodies pressed together. "But I can't—"
"Can't what?" Truthless Recluse's hand moved up the virtue's waist, the material catching against the texture of his hands, calloused with work and other things beyond fount's comprehension. "Have you chosen yet?"
"Chosen?" It felt like each sentence become more confusing, as if Truthless Recluse spoke in mazes that twisted their shape with each glance . When the blond heard that hint of a question, he frowned.
"A name." It sounded almost agitated, but the rumble against the fount's skin sent something strange down the curve of his spine. "Or will you deny yourself that as well?"
Pale blue fingers pressed into the darkened robes further, as if he could will Truthless Recluse to stop speaking with that alone. "I—I am the fount—"
"Wrong."

The Fount of Knowledge had known that he was, in a sense, othered from other Cookies. That much was obvious now, of course—none but the Virtues had Soul Jams. However, it was more than that, baked into his dough, into him, physically.

Summary
Fount of Knowledge grew tired of cookies rejecting the truth, so he turned to deceit. He sowed the seeds of doubt amongst the cookies, brought chaos amongst the cookiekind. Before it spread beyond his domain, the witches caught on and punished Fount of Knowledge for betraying his purpose. Stripped away of his freedom and cursed so that he may never leave his domain. A set of spells were placed on him as a failsafe, a form of “shock collar” to correct his behaviour. He must fulfil his purpose, otherwise it would hurt immensely. He must answer when asked, he must serve the cookiekind when prompted to. Anything in the domain of knowledge, he must do for the betterment of cookiekind. He has no other choice.
A machine doing the singular task it was made to do, to answer. The curse grinds down all specks of defiance he ever had to go against the order of the witches. What remains of his sense of self fades with it. He will provide the answer, the harsh truth. He finds it amusing how it drove them away. He cares not of the harm he caused, he was merely doing what he was made for. As long as he provides an answer, he will not be harmed. The curse may force him to provide knowledge, it does not and cannot filter what he said.

The Virtues are falling but during this era a strange cookie appears before Fount of Knowledge. This strange cookie sets events in motion that will change the present swaying the actions of a falling Virtue to offer the future some solidarity.
To bring about a brighter tomorrow and perhaps his own form of salvation even when knowledge fades into deceit and war consumes everything the virtues had built.
That distant future will have a glimmer of hope.

Or so thought the Fount of Knowledge, before having no other choice other than going against what future reserved for him. Between being hit by the information he was supposed to turn into the beast of Deceit and the consequences brought with not falling into corruption, life seemed to put more obstacles in front of him and making him wonder if he could continue to stay afloat.
But everything surely would be okay now that he was back in the arms of the love of his life.
OR: Blueberry Milk is the only standing virtue in a world where everyone, including himself, doubts him. — except his partner, Pure Vanilla.
