Summary
His date smiles, his voice perfectly soft, "I mean it. Darry is my brother."
Even though he's clearly expecting this, Dallas can see clear as that he doesn't bear a single resemblance to Darry that Dallas can see from where he's sitting across from him. Reflexively, he tries to find a feature, any feature that can tip him off, watching his date wipe his fingers off on the napkin in his lap.
There were things he knew about Darry Curtis in certainty and uncertainty: that he was the oldest of his brothers, that he was married to Paul Holden going on twenty odd years, that his parents had died in a car accident in January in 1965 that gave him the empire he had now, that he was a Socs Soc back in Tulsa who'd been hailed as their golden boy, and he lived up to that moniker in every way until Dallas had been reclaimed by his sister in 1965.
Dallas Winston goes on a date with a very unexpected party.

Summary
One Eye'd Jack's isn't like Buck's, newly made for cowboys still breaking their backs for a little money. No, it's rougher, meaner, meant for bikers who know that they can come and take over whatever they want. They travel in packs that Ponyboy can only envy, and there is only one person among them that Ponyboy cares about: Dallas Winston.
But Ponyboy is admittedly, a little cloudy on all things about Dallas.
Ponyboy and Dallas have a quick reunion in 1957.
