Summary
The Beasts have been freed after White Lily Cookie became Guardian, which leaves the Ancients no choice but to confront their other halves. However, the awakening of the Beasts seems to be drawing certain cookies closer than one would expect, cookies with no certain memories of the past and aiming to make things right.
Golden Flour Cookie, a healer of the Crème Republic has gone off to the Dark Cacao Kingdom to assist with a mysterious plague, only to be drawn towards an Ivory Pagoda.
Capsaicin Cookie, Scovillia's best student, sent on his way to the Golden Cheese Kingdom to help with the oncoming onslaught of spices, only to be drawn towards destruction itself.
Prune Juice Cookie, a brilliant potion-maker on his way to find knowledge, only to be trapped within the walls of a place he is being forced to call home.
Kouign-Amann Cookie, a paladin volunteering to join late on an expedition to Beast-Yeast, only to find herself in a Garden so familiar and sweet.

After the Spire, Pure Vanilla Cookie and the Gingergang head back to the Vanilla Kingdom. Pure Vanilla, not wanting to tire the children out after such an exhausting journey, insists they stay in the Vanilla Kingdom until they are ready to return to their kingdom.
Pure Vanilla takes some time to reflect the night after sorting out rooms for Gingerbrave and his friends. He roams his castle, going from room to room, doing nothing but thinking, about his friends, about the spire, about Shadow Milk Cookie. Why had he not accepted his request to be friends?
Suddenly, his souljam started to glow and vibrate. The vibrations and pulses were strong, as if the souljam wanted to break itself from the inside out. Before Pure Vanilla could move a muscle, there was a blinding light, and Pure Vanilla could only shield his eyes from the sight.
As the light started to die down, Pure Vanilla looked up, and it was as if he had seen a ghost. But it would have to be, because the Cookie hovering before him couldn't be the same one who had rejected him. Why was he here? What did he come for? What was his plan?

And together they rise in an abundant illusion, and embark on a quest to get the Ancients to leave their beasts. But the truth is, neither Burning Spice or Golden Cheese are really on the same page. And for better or for worse, they're about to show the world just why the soul jam of change was never meant to be whole. -
