In Wind’s defense, there was no way he could have known this would happen.
“This,” Legend spits, “Is bullshit.”
“You think that’s bad?” Wind barks, and his voice comes out like he gargled a handful of sea gravel, “You don’t look any different at all! I’m the one that’s damn-near a fossil!”
Upon arriving in Wind's Hyrule for the first time, the Chain encounters a pot that miraculously shuffles their ages. It doesn't go well for any of them.

Summary
And right now, Wind was seething in anger. It wasn’t fair.
And he was getting tired of it.
He was tired of being spoken about behind his own back, and laughed at as though he wasn’t the very star of it. Acting as though he had no feelings or thoughts of it either, and this wasn’t his life that they were poking fun at.
He’s glad he ended up here, because it means that he fought for himself. And Wind would do it again.

Summary
This nightmare was a rather common one, it wasn't always the exact same; different faces, different names, different injuries, different screams. But it followed the same script if you would. Enemies closing in, lives lost, all due to his failure. Because he couldn't move fast enough, couldn't give the right commands, couldn't do anything.
It wasn't far from reality, was it? How many people never went home to their families due to Warriors' mistakes?.
