Summary
“Good evening ladies and gentlemen! To start off our night, please welcome… Rule X!”
Ritsuka could hear the cheers and his heart pounded as the veil began to rise. He stood absolutely still, breathing deeply, allowing the feel of the stage beneath his feet, the scorching of the lights across his skin, to ground him. Lifting his head, he looked out into the crowd. For a moment, nausea rose up inside him and his vision started to swim as he took in the sea of faces. Another deep breath. Ritsuka swallowed down the awful, fluttering sensation inside him and concentrated on the people in the front. There. Three boys around his age. The first two didn’t really catch his attention, but the third was looking right at him, a challenge in his honeyed brown eyes.
Ritsuka grinned. Challenge accepted.

Summary
The man hums, his lips cracking into a small smile as he turns back to Ritsuka. Fingers still splayed against the glass. And, sure, he might be crazy. But Ritsuka swears he hears angels sing.
“So weird.”
The man huffs. His eyes lock onto the embroidery of his uniform for seemingly the first time. They shine, as he looks back up.
“You work here?” He asks, almost hopefully. Something about it sends a shiver down Ritsuka’s spine. He nods. And the man wastes no time in turning to face him fully.
“Could you tell me more?”

Or, Uenoyama Ritsuka loves sea life, so much so that he decides to work at an aquarium where he meets a handsome stranger who’s weirdly interested in the animals as well. (Mafuyu sato)

Summary
We always hear about Mafuyu's grief, and rightfully so, but what about Uenoyama's? What about the life he had before Mafuyu, and before Haruki and before Ahihiko? What about Uenoyama when it's just him?
This is that, I added my HCS, and implications...take them as you will. 😚😚

Summary
A small two-and-a-almost-half-drabble where Mafuyu thinks about his relationship with Yuki, since he’s dead and Mafuyu… likes someone else (too). When this idea first popped into my mind I thought that a reflection like this would happen between Uenoyama kissing him after Mafuyu’s first live and they going to Minato Mirai in Yokohama but during chapter 11, page 156 this realization is in my opinion confirmed. So… maybe just before the live? During him trying to come up with lyrics?

Summary
“It still feels like it was my fault.”
Uenoyama tenses. Mafuyu’s voice is so eerily calm even though his body is visibly shaking. He looks down at Mafuyu’s bowed head.
“It’s been 4 years and I still feel like it’s my fault.”
-
Or, Mafuyu's grief comes in waves, Uenoyama supports him through it all, and the two of them heal in each other's presence.
