“I am careful,” Zuo Le huffs, before immediately slicing a pepper unevenly. His tail flicks around in annoyance.
Yu doesn’t look up. “Aww, you’re being careful for whatshisname? Wanqing? He Sheng?” He coos at Zuo Le’s rapidly growing blush. “You’re such a cutie!”
“No? Shut up !” If his facial expression wasn’t enough to convince Yu, the whipping of his tail definitely is. “ I mean—I don’t care if he eats—”
“Sure. I’ll just garnish these with your undying thirst of approval for him.”
“I do not thirst for him!” Zuo Le stomps around the kitchen like the angry little teenage boy he is. “There is nothing attractive about He Sheng at all!”
