Tomoyo placed a finger on her chin. “You have to admit though… a lot of those situations were probably a lot more weird than they needed to be. Take the erase card for example. A pit in the middle of the park where Sakura-chan almost drowned in stuffed sheep? You could’ve made it something that seemed a lot more scary or threatening than that, she probably would’ve transformed it faster.”
A mischievous smile crossed Eriol’s face. “I didn’t know if you were going to pick up on that, but it seems you have. I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised, however. It’s true that some of them were quite comical. Making them amusing where and when possible was a personal choice of mine. I suppose there is no reason aside from it being so fun to do.”
Tomoyo wondered how Eriol could be so mature yet so immature at the same time. Still, it was one of the things she loved about him.
Syaoran cleared his throat. "Anyway... when are the fireworks?"
"They're starting pretty soon."
"Let's find a spot to watch!" Sakura exclaimed.
Tomoyo, Eriol, Nakuru, Spinel, Syaoran, Sakura, Kero, Meiling, Touya, and Yukito enjoy the New Year's festival at Tsukimine Shrine together.

Touya y Yukito son una pareja sólida, unida y muy amorosa, ambos han tenido siempre la aprobación y el apoyo incondicional de muchas personas queridas. Los jóvenes acaban de terminar la universidad y gracias a sus trabajos, viven en un tranquilo departamento cerca de la casa familiar de Touya. Sin embargo, aquellos días hermosos podrían dar un giro completo y después de un repentino eclipse en donde la tierra quedó a oscuras por unos minutos, Kero pierde el conocimiento y se transforma en Kerberos, con una mirada amenazante. Touya no puede con aquel sentimiento que hace que le arda el pecho, así que sale corriendo y va a buscar a Yukito en varios lugares. Al final, a punto de darse por vencido, recordará un lugar especial para ellos. Touya irá a su encuentro, encontrando a Yukito inconsciente sobre el césped, al sujetarlo en sus brazos ambos serán envueltos por una luz intensa, y al darse cuenta... es Yue, aquel ángel de alas y cabello blanco.
Cuando Yue despierta, todos los recuerdos y momentos vividos de Yukito han desaparecido, su esencia se ha desvanecido, asumiendo totalmente el rol de guardián, ahora Yue es quien tiene el total control de ese cuerpo.
