The corner of Alex’s mouth twitches up. “Morning, baby.”
Henry’s sleepy smile widens, turns shy like it always does whenever Alex calls him that. He says, “Hi.” His voice is just as sleepy as his smile, deep, accent thick and words kind of slurred. Alex could drown in it. “Sleep well?”
“Not as well as you did,” Alex says. “But apparently you really needed it, so.”
Henry hums, closing his eyes. And then: “Wait.” Alex grins as Henry’s eyes open again, staring at him in shock and horror. “Oh God. Please tell me I did not fall asleep before we could have sex last night.”
