Jinu, arms behind his head, opens an eye to watch her, unconcerned.
“Hold on,” she says again, stomach twisting. “Are we- We’re not friends, are we?”
Jinu stares at her blankly for a few seconds before he sighs and closes his eyes again. Almost as if he’s saying that’s what you interrupted my nap for? Which, fuck him, this is serious.

It goes like this: Alex is pushing into Henry pretty steadily now, Henry whining high in his throat, pace just shy of ramming, and he has his lips teasing at the edge of the hairline at the back of Henry’s neck, and he’s just basking in it all, and then he thinks I want to put a baby in him and comes so hard he thinks his brain is falling out of his nose.

“Well,” Alex says. He swallows, mouth dry. Closes his eyes, takes the hand not in Henry’s and runs it along his tummy, up and up to his bottom rib and then up over that as well. The skin is soft, but the bones under them are hard, firm under Alex’s palm; his fingers dance over the spaces and grooves, feeling along the edges of bone and dipping into the empty space between. Deep breath: in, out. In again, hold it for a few seconds, then out. Then: “I want to, like. Be in you.”
Oh wow. Nice one, Alex. Awesome phrasing. Fucking great job.

Letty, give him back the stupid lug wrench. Her excitement had vanished, replaced by concern. “Can’t you see he’s going through it?”
Letty hadn’t seen that, maybe. She’d thought they had been joking. She pulled herself upright and squinted at him. Then she said, “Christ. Was the chick married?”
“Not married,” Dom said. “I mean, I don’t think so.” And the money shot. “Not a chick, either.”
