Merlin didn’t smile back, only managing to look even more haunted than before. “Right.”
Quietly, Gwen pressed, “There’s something you’re not telling me, isn’t there?”
Merlin doesn’t find the Fomorroh in Morgana’s hut. Worse, the severed head wriggling around in his neck has discovered his magic, which means it’s only a matter of time before one of his assassination attempts succeeds. Luckily for him, Gwen has no intention of letting him deal with this alone.
