“The Professor should be here soon,” Lana reminds them. “He’ll know.”
They ponder over the extra desk for another five minutes when Professor Kukui walks in-

“Knight!” she corrected.

Astra giggles before saying her vow, “And I solemnly swear to write to Armin the Sea Prince, and to talk about what stars I see once it is nighttime.”

The gods went ahead and caused Cale more chaos. He could practically see his slacker life waving as it ran away from him, the glares and distrustful looks of the Birth of a Hero World definitely didn't help his blood pressure.
At least, Kim Rok Soo also had to suffer, a small mercy that Cale gleefully accepted.
To save the world of the original book, the Birth of a Hero, Cale's heroic past will be randomly shown on the big screen, while the gods started a side quest of matchmaking with expected results.

Told through the lenses of humans, espers, and even the occasional god, this is my attempt to fully flesh out and bring to life the world of the game across an entire series of novels. No stone will remain unturned when this behemoth of a tale is complete, from the Warring Triad, to the War of the Magi, through the events of the game's present and beyond. No knowledge of the game is needed to understand and enjoy the story, but keen eyes will see the countless threads that lead to the current FFVI world if they look carefully. I hope you enjoy reading as much as I've enjoyed writing it. This has truly been a labor of love for the ages.
