It was an indisputable fact that Regina George was the veritable queen of North Shore High. She’d been on top of the world for as long as she could remember, and it wasn’t as though she kept anyone around long enough to contradict her. Years of careful honing and planning had led to this point. The pinnacle, the culmination—her senior year.
Nothing was going to get in her way. Except, perhaps, the return of her arch nemesis, Rodrick Heffley.
Evanston was a fucking shithole. But there was one thing Illinois had that Massachusetts certainly didn’t, and that was Regina George.
He’d be lying if he said that the thought of seeing her again was the main reason he hadn’t fought back when his parents said they were moving. There was only one more year of high school, and then he’d be free, free to fuck off and play with his band and get the hell out of there.
He knew he was being a dipshit. The chances of her remembering him were slim to none.
