After crashing his imperial starfighter into the Dune Seas of Tatooine, Darth Vader finds his body mutilated - seemingly beyond repair. With three of his metal limbs too crushed to salvage and his body grievously wounded, there seems to be little for him to do than to bleed out on the sands he used to despise.
However, the Force would not have it be so.
As if by luck, he is saved and brought into the care of his former master, Obi-Wan Kenobi, who assures him that bringing him to his hut was not an act of kindness. Rather, he wants the assurance of personally seeing Vader die, though he will do nothing to contribute to his suffering himself. Faced with such a situation, Vader at first lashes out, only to realize how futile it is.
With the two in one house, it's only a matter before wounds of the past resurface, but this time, together, they might just be able to heal them.
