Enter Steve, who would do anything to make sure Bucky's first solo mission succeeds, and you have a lot of awkward men trying to fake being in love while secretly fighting evil. Figuring out their feelings along the way only makes things more difficult. Add in the occasional help from old friends to keep their cover, new friends along the road, a few well meaning set ups and you get one hell of an interesting mission to say the least.
EDIT 9/2024: YALL WONT BELIEVE THIS BUT......Im working on chapter 3-5!! My goal is to wrap this up in 5 chapters just so all you lovelies finally have closure. A few years later.....HA!

Set right at the end of "Avengers (2012)", Clint is back only that he isn't sure if that is a good thing. His mind is a shadow mosaic on the brink of bursting in too tiny pieces to ever put back together and at some point even a mosaic is too damaged. Nick Fury is glad that Clint is in the company of people who see his unstable mind as a challenge rather than a death sentence. He only isn't sure if the Avengers are up for this task because, in the end, they have no idea who the archer really is and what he is able to do. Maybe the Avengers can teach him a thing or two and maybe, just maybe the archer will tell them some of the stories life wrote with scars onto his skin and mind.
Three months in the tower and at the end almost everything goes to hell. No one ever will be entirly sure how they survived this. Or if all of them even did. Surviving isn't living after all.
