This strange techno-universe is far more advanced. And tempting. Man? “Woman”? Woman? “Man”? Who is he? He must find identity in the sweated, groaning nightclubs and the gender stretched streets. In a far future world, the human genome is patented. You own the patent rights to your personal, individual combination of genes. Genetic engineering companies realized that if they created a genome completely from scratch, they would own it; and therefore, thanks to a legal loophole, own the living being that resulted.
This loophole in the laws of the Terran Sol-System Federation essentially makes it legal to own genetically created individuals designed for certain tasks.
The only way to create genomes that are stable and functional, is via SI, syncretic intelligences; a "super AI." All S.I. are ungodly powerful, unspeakably alien, and psychotically insane by any human standard of measurement. Their working life is only a few days before they become dangerously unstable and must be destroyed lest they escape.
In this case, the problem offers its own solution; Takanami-Marcus corporation ordered their SI's to create genomes for handlers that can interface with them and keep them sane and grounded. This is the story of Craig McClure, one of the first such successful creations and Asane No Kitsune, the genetically engineered perfect assassin who malfunctions and refuses to kill him.

"Novus City...a monument to our past, our present, and our unforeseeable future in this world. A city born out of necessity in order to unite what remained of both beast and man kind, to forge a place we could all call home without worry of anymore outside influence or forces. It was supposed to be our shelter from the rest of the world, the endless winter that now blighted it, and our shield from any otherworldly powers...too bad humanity didn't survive. There's no exact date on its time of construction or completion date, just that it's been here longer than everyone who's still living. A city that started out humble, but soon found ways to take old tech and advance it so far that we can't live without it. A city that relies on its networking more than it does international trade to maintain its economy. The people here don't care about the outside world anymore, and honestly, why should they? We got everything right here, in our shelter. And if it ever feels like something's unobtainable, we got software and hardware for that. But with a reliance on tech comes those that can, will, and have taken advantage of it. No need to freak out, though. We got people that can rebuild you, for the right price."

Summary
Just me recording/re-writing a campaign I played in last year, trying to experiment with making it more narrative.
The story mainly focuses on the character I played, a Shadowrunner named Lemon Aide; A corporate mage who doesn't have any memory of the time she worked for a company named Green Line, just the knowledge that she woke up knowing how to fight, and with a presumably stolen armored vehicle.
Each "chapter" will be divided into missions or possibly some side activities having their own, we'll see how things go.(Shelving for now due to lack of feeling like I'm doing well with it. Maybe I'll come back to it, maybe I won't. 2/24/22)
