Summary
At the park, Foggy watches the frisbee and the swings and the man with a daughter and a guitar. They’re far enough away that he can hear them, but not see them clearly.
The girl looks bored as her father tunes the guitar and does a few warm-up scales.
“Always warm up,” he tells her, when she asked when he would actually play something for real, “Don’t matter what you’re doing, going back to basics to warm up is good. Gets your fingers stretched and ready so you ain’t playin cold.”Foggy agrees. The man passes the guitar to the girl, who’s dwarfed by its size, and asks her to play a few scales too. “If you wanna play my guitar while we’re out here, you gotta warm up too.”
“Okay,” she sighs. Her scales aren’t as clean as her dad’s were, but he seems happy enough with it that he scoots closer to show her a chord formation, then moves it up and down a few frets to make another scale.
“That one too.”
“Ugh, you want me to hold down two strings with one finger? That’s, like, impossible.”
“I can do it just fine.”
“You have freaky huge hands. Mine are too small.”

An alternate universe where Peter's remaining family is hunted down by Kingpin because they were believed to carry the knowledge of what Richard and Mary had discovered during their time at S.H.I.E.L.D., Peter is left behind in the warehouse they were held captive in. In all this time he did the thing he never wanted to do again, he let people in. Even though he loves his friends he doesn’t tell them who he is under the mask. They know Spider-Man and that is more than enough.
Because he knows they wouldn’t want a fifteen year old homeless teenager with trauma piled to the moon in their lives. So the mask stays on.

The walk back to the trailer is a quiet one. With his arm slung around her shoulders, thumb mindlessly stroking her arm, Frank leads Amy back to their hideout while she grabs a fistful of his shirt at his back to hold on to. He's worried: the kid is walking aimlessly, dragging one foot after the other while unfocused eyes stare blankly ahead. She feels weightless against him, with only one foot set in reality; if he picked her up now and carried her the rest of the way, she probably wouldn’t even notice.
Deepest wounds, worst injuries — he knows how to deal with those. But there are no stitches or bandages that can help here. The girl has simply seen too much, been through too much tonight.

A low sob abruptly pulled Matt from his sleep. The frightened cry of his baby had him on his feet in seconds, running towards the noise. He heard Frank’s ragged breathing, followed by a low curse. He was clearly worried. Matt picked up on the clumsiness of his movements, the urgency in his attempts to soothe Druig with hurried pats on his back and whispered reassurances.
He also heard the water running in the sink… and Druig’s faint coughing, barely distinguishable between his whimpers.
