Yaku grinned wide, out the window, into the world cascading past, the land that felt theirs at this speed.
Reaching over, his fingers touched Kuroo's warm thigh again. Sometimes he wished he could touch gently, but that wasn't him. From Kuroo's smile, he didn't want it to be. With his hand resting on Kuroo's battered trousers, he turned his head to gaze out at everything.
He wondered if anything else mattered. The air and Kuroo, Kuroo and he, Kuroo and the land to conquer.
"But seriously, if you were to go back, what would you do different?"
"A philosophical, hypothetical question from Yaku?" Kuroo said, incredulous. "Should I be concerned?" He flung a long arm into the backseat, mock searching at a languished pace. His fingers brushed off against Yaku's bloodstained hammer. “I think I have a thermometer somewhere -“
