Summary
After SHIELD is exposed for being corrupted by HYDRA, both organizations crash and burn trying to destroy the other; leaving you the perfect opportunity to escape the hands of HYDRA once and for all. However, unable to truly escape your past, you begin tracking down remnants of HYDRA on your own as an assassin, desperate for a sense of peace and justice for everything they had done to you.
Though you were safe in hiding for over two years from both SHIELD and HYDRA, you are eventually discovered by Nick Fury who sees you as nothing more than a threat that needs to be contained. However, an old friend of yours, Clint Barton, talks him down and instead enlists you to work with Steve Rogers and his team on their own mission to destroy any remnants of HYDRA.
As if your situation wasn't complicated enough, it eventually becomes more complicated when you find yourself harboring a certain metal-armed fugitive who Steve is desperately searching for. Over time, more and more of your past comes back to haunt you; threatening everything you've been building with Steve and the others.

A complete overhaul of my story Destructive:
After escaping from HYDRA, you-a biomedical engineered super soldier-are found unconscious by a member of the Avengers and brought back to their compound. You're offered the choice between asylum and potential membership with the Avengers, or risk spending the rest of your life in a government prison. Second chances are never easy, but yours is made even harder by the fact that James "Bucky" Barnes a.k.a. the Winter Soldier completely loathes you. Convinced at every turn that you're just biding your time to betray them all, it's only a matter of time before one of you ends up killing the other. Is it possible to find your place among the Avengers when one of them absolutely despises you?
