Summary
Summer fireworks were supposed to be harmless — just a night on the Heights Alliance rooftop, surrounded by friends and laughter.
Izuku told himself he’d be fine.
He wasn’t.When one deafening blast rips the sky apart, his fight-or-flight response chooses for him, sending him fleeing the roof in blind panic. The world narrows to the sound of his heartbeat and the echo of explosions chasing him down the stairwell.
It’s Aizawa who finds him, shaking and gasping in the common room. And Aizawa who stays — quiet, steady, a grounding voice in the chaos — until Izuku can breathe again.
