Summary
Nicky is an Omega whose parents have kept isolated since he presented at sixteen in order to preserve his purity. They decide to hold a Masquerade ball for his "coming out" and to see what offers they get for his hand.
His father decided that the best offer has come from the Merrick family, which horrifies Nicky. Not knowing what else to do, and having very little power in the situation, he stops eating.
Eventually his father comes around, with a little help, and the crisis is averted. Nicky is finally given some say in his own life and he chooses Joe, even though he's only actually met him for a few minutes.
Will he be happy with his choice?
