But when a single act of kindness from Ragatha finally gives Pomni a reason to venture out of her room, she quickly finds herself in the midst of a haunted house adventure with the redheaded ragdoll — and it isn't very long before she starts catching feelings.
AUTHOR'S NOTE, 08/10/2025: Hey everyone! This story is not dead! A lot is happening in my life at the moment. I found a wonderful life partner that I want to build a future with, and that involves working my butt off to earn qualifications for a better job. I think about this story every day and desperately want to finish it, but right now I am simply unable to dedicate the same amout of time and effort as I was before. A time will come someday (probably mid 2026) when I will finally have the free time to sit down to write the final two chapters. For now, please be patient! I miss writing this as much as you miss reading it. :)

jax and ribbit confess to eachother, and are in a relationship! the rest of the tadc cast
(kaufmo, gangle, ragatha, and kinger) seem to find out about this and are shocked but at the same time not surprised.
jax comes out as a trans woman to ribbit, and they hide it from the rest, but for jax it's enough for only ribbit to know. or is it?
ribbit's abstraction didn't seem to land well for jax.
he becomes more rude and bullies gangle even worse, and completely pushes ragatha away. he almost becomes friends with pomni, but pushes her away. will they end up becoming frieends in the end anyways? who knows. (episode 1-6 are all in canon to this fic)also i headcanon ribbit to be genderfluid but it's not necessarily canon to the fic, but implied, so i''ll be using they/them for ribbit so their gender is up to interpretation
