Basically I'm rewriting Nerdy Prudes Must Die, except the BAU is called to Hatchetfield to catch the serial killer behind a series of mysterious deaths of local high school students! Updates will probably be slow because I'm a struggling college student, but I'm so excited to write this because I love Starkid, and I've been in the depths of a Criminal Minds hyperfixation for the past two months! I might get the order of events in npmd a little wonky, but trust I have the fandom wiki up at all times.

Spamton life is shitty, unsurprisingly, and it's noticeable once you breach the doorway of his house. He isn't one to treat himself as his income isn't exactly one of a king's; dumpster diving and resorting to the bare minimum out of desire to save as much as he can. He takes home a telephone and TV to stick his hands in and try to repair. In light of his frustration, he ends up breaking the TV screen with drastic consequence. Magically alive, and rather unharmed for what had happened, a now human like TV conglomerate lays in the center of his totaled living room. It plays distorted children's shows at times, but is rather sweet and well-mannered for something that shouldn't exist. I wonder what could all happen..

A full Hannibal NBC retelling/AU where Will did “stick to repairing boat motors in Louisiana.” His life in a small town is trapped in uneasy peace - until bodies begin turning up in the swamp, all killed the same way. While out on the river, he runs into one of the scenes and makes a startling discovery: he can almost see what happened and understand why the killer did it - and it terrifies him. He flees the scene, but is soon tracked down by the BAU for his involvement in the scene, forcing him to confess what he saw and become involved in the investigation or be blamed for a crime he did not commit. Doubting his story, Jack decides to have an esteemed, oddly charismatic profiler and psychiatrist from Baltimore profile Will to determine whether he is a suspect or an asset. As Will speaks with the Doctor and grows closer to him, he begins to doubt his own memory and innocence, and it seems that whether he's found guilty or not he will never return to any sort of peaceful life again.
CW: Violence typical of Hannibal, though I avoid overly detailed descriptions. Mentions/themes of anxiety/depression and suicidal thoughts from !depressedwill, themes of manipulation/control. Slowburn because Will hates Lecter's guts.
