Summary
It's everyone's third year back at Camp, aside from Ered who decided to be a councilor this year. Everyone had been staying close over the past ten months, but no one really knew how much everyone had changed until they got back. The biggest change was in their jaded friend Max, who now wore the biggest smile out of all of them. He was finally himself, he was finally happy. This caught everyone off guard, but once Preston saw how much the boy had changed, he couldn't help but feel like he might have a chance with his friend.

Little snippets of the gang's high school life.
No real plot other than showing how the group has changed and grown closer, in my mind.The kids are all fucked up as we know, and their home lives aren't the greatest. After they grew too old for Camp Campbell, they discovered that they all live in the same county. They kept in touch and, as they grew older, became the family they needed.

But life is always changing in the real world and sometimes, that change can be good.

If asked what he liked about Camp Campbell, Max would say absolutely fucking nothing, but that wouldn’t be entirely true. Max liked his friends, Neil and Nikki. He liked lazing about with them on Saturdays, and he secretly liked it when they went off on dumb adventures. He liked David’s expression after another failed escape attempt, but he secretly liked David’s expression when he showed up on the first day every year. After seven years at this god-forsaken camp, Max managed to find several things he liked about the place. This though, this was a new development.

With the showcase drawing ever closer, everyone was focused. Dolph was setting up an art gallery, Ered was showing off her new skateboard ramp, Preston was debuting a new play he’d written. Neil, however, was at a loss. Until he thought back to the electronics store in town. The small shop had a lot of broken parts and long forgotten pieces, sure, but he remembered something specific catching his eye: the framework of an old instant print camera.

Max's first apology to Harrison was a seat in the back of a large crowd. Furthest possible, his view blocked with taller students, he took a step in meeting him half-way.
From the moment the curtains drew, to the walk back home- how the corner of Harrison's smile trembled then, he should've known.
He was so fucking stupid.
