Three years have passed since the battle against Ambessa’s army and the Herald—the clash that scarred Piltover forever. The city has rebuilt, but not without fractures. Then came the news that turned fear into political fire: Swain had claimed what remained of the Hextech disaster, intent on rebuilding it for his own power; and to settle the score for the death of one of Noxus’s own generals.
Things escalate further when a mysterious, memoryless Noxian woman washes ashore with something volatile in her veins, something feral beneath her skin, and a strength no ordinary human should possess.
And Vi is assigned to stay close, whether she likes it or not. She expected duty. Trouble. Nothing more. What she didn’t expect was for the lines between obligation and something else to blur the longer they remain in each other’s orbit.
