“So, hypothetically,” Peter began, his voice nearly startling Tony into dropping the soldering iron.
“Oh god, what now?” He asked, the question aimed more at God than the mutate clinging to the ceiling of his lab.
“Hypothetically,” Peter repeated, “If someone wanted to get a patent, how would they go about doing that?”
Tony perked up.
“Did you invent something? What is it?” He asked.
“Well, yeah, but that’s not why I’m asking.”
“But what did you invent?”
Peter stared at him incredulously. “My webshooters? And my webs? Like, a ton of different versions?”
Tony stared at him blankly.
“That stuff doesn’t come out of you?”
