Summary
“You know,” Martyn says, the first time he wants to ask, “When BigB first told us about you, the only thing he said about how you looked is that you had dog ears.”
His god lights up, a few small embers popping against the glass. Martyn continues, straight faced, as his god laughs, “A tail, too. That was all he said. The ears were how I recognized you.”
(Martyn has been thinking a lot about what his god might have looked like.)
