Sora’s been having strange dreams lately.
That’s okay, because his father has been having them too.Rewrite of KH1 but Sora’s dad Hayate is the POV character and a former keyblade apprentice. As well, Sora's parents and Kairi survive the destruction of Destiny Islands with Sora, in a universe where the events and circumstances of the past went far, far differently, bending and blending the timeline and combining a few characters.
Chapter 19: Hayate wakes up with a hangover. Yun wakes up with a deep feeling of wanting vengeance.

This is my personal rewrite of for Kingdom Hearts. This is inspired by Cryptonix02 on YouTube, and I will use some aspects of his rewrite in this one. I am starting with the first game, and I will continue through the series (If I don't lose motivation) in the release order. This first one tackles the first game and the beginning of Sora, Donald, and Goofys adventure.

Tempest was quite surprised to learn that Kingdom Hearts was a true story. Especially since she learned this by her world falling to darkness. She also has a brother now, which is... new information. Keyblades in hand, the two set off to help Sora complete the Xehanort Arc, and to investigate an old rediscovered threat to the worlds.

Riku’s chest is… distracting.Anybody with two working eyes and a brain could see that; see how his pecs slightly bump off his white tee shirt, the perky peaks of his nipples casting a shadow under the sun. It’s the sweat that perspires whenever they spar, and Riku’s shirt is always soaked.
It sure doesn’t help either that Riku’s so vocal whenever they train—the cocky taunts that roll off his tongue when he’s oh-so confident, the soft pants that come when he’s off his guard, out of breath.
So yeah. Kairi’s really hungry. Horny to hell and back.

Summary
Before, Sora wasn't too phased by the concept of loneliness. Though, things have changed when he knows that he'll potentially never see the light of day or his friends ever again, and it was at that moment he realized that it had become his greatest fear.
He had never grasped the concept of death before he almost witnessed it right in front of his eyes.
Riku had gone through guilt before when he let himself be consumed by the darkness. Forgiveness was always the hardest to come to terms with. Even if he had went through it before, he believes that this time he'll never forgive himself for his weakness.
It was a time where loneliness and guiltless consumed his very being.

The message is cool, precise and to the point and Riku doesn’t need to check the number to know who it’s from. There is exactly one person who texts him like this, nevermind that Kairi saved Roxas into his phone as “Sea Salt Shaker” and Riku never had the heart to change it.
Mostly because the pun is so dumb, it’s funny.
He answers with a simple “Ok, got it. And it’s “we’re””” and then proceeds to take five minutes to look for a fitting emoji, only for his phone to almost vibrate out of his hand, messages incoming at a speed he can barely keep up with. -
