It was Izuku's last year; there was not a chance in Hell that his name would be called.
He'd told Inko as much that morning, watching as her lip had quivered and she'd tugged a brush through his mop of curls in an attempt to tame them.
Izuku would just hold his breath until they read off whomever's name was etched onto the uncomfortably white paper.
He'd done it for years, he could manage it one last time.
But he knew the name that fell from those poppy-colored lips, and it was not his own:
"Kouta Izumi."

"Izuku?" Ochaco's voice quavered, hope and dread intertwining within her racing heart. The creature hesitated, its form shifting as if struggling with its own awakening. As its mouth slightly parted, Ochaco caught a glimpse of razor-sharp teeth glinting in the dim light.
Her breath caught in her throat, a mixture of fear and regret tightening her chest.

Ochako draws a shuddering inhale. Himiko’s so warm on top of her, and her knees lock tight by her hips so she’s trapped. She needs to escape, but her body won’t move, the room swimming in a blinding haze of scarlet. “We—we don’t.”
“You’re lying. Can’t you see?” She grins, tilting her face close until her breath lands sweet on Ochako’s lips. Her hair sticks to her reddened face with sweat, lips half-ajar. “You look so cute like this, Ochako-chan. I wanna see you lose control. I wanna make that pretty face bleed.”

Despite the rowdiness of the room, Izuku finds his gaze crawling back to Kacchan again. Their eyes lock. Izuku feels heat warm his face, the shot glass pressed against his lower lip as he waits for Katsuki to make a move.
And, without breaking the stare, Katsuki takes his shot. Wipes his mouth with the back of his hand and watches Izuku with a hard, curious expression.
Izuku knocks back his shot as well.

Or, the hero course classes celebrate their last night in the dorms after graduation with alcohol and a game of Never Have I Ever. Katsuki and Izuku mutually agree to continue the game on their own, and neither are displeased with the results.
