Considering this would probably be their last opportunity to resupply and stay somewhere with a proper roof before beginning the trek up into Silversvale, it was a good call. It was also a chance to try and track down Zedaph, and by extension Tango, which is what Gem and Pearl were off doing, talking to the adventurer and mercenary guilds both, considering this was the last branch of each before the outposts in the mountains. Impulse still had this avian, whom he didn't understand. He needed to find Tango, too. There was so much piling up on his shoulders right now, and all the while he was desperate to try and uphold the thing he'd wished for since the first moments he'd come too back in his pyre ten years ago, with the realization that his little brother, like a brilliant spark, wasn't by his side. No more hurt. On the old continent though, Impulse knew that was impossible.
